Long-time renters Chandra and Alex took the leap into home ownership when their two oldest children were toddlers, in what they call the best investment they’ve made to date. Fast forward 13 years and another child later, their once perfect starter home is feeling tight. Chandra is ready to cash in on the equity they’ve built in the home and move them into something bigger and better. Alex, who is very attached to the house and the memories they’ve made within it, believes they’ve got the square footage to make it work for them, but that it just needs a bold re-imagining of the floor plan. Armed with their must-have lists (and tight budgets), Page and David must contend with construction constraints and soaring real estate prices as they both work to sway the family’s final decision. Will a stunning renovation be enough to make them Love It, or will David’s real estate savvy convince them to List It?
